David was honored to participate in MONDAY NIGHTS, NEW VOICES at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre on January 21, 2007. The evening was hosted by Avenue Q’s Ann Harada with musical direction by Barbara Anselmi.

David played the role of Gaylord Ravenal in a concert presentation of SHOW BOAT for Broadway Ala Carte from October 18-21, 2007. David was honored to join the Staten Island Philharmonic for a concert presentation of KISS ME, KATE September 29, 2007, playing the role of Fred Graham/Petruchio. A few song clips from this concert are now posted on the Multimedia page.


AIDA completed its run at Artpark on August 19, 2007. David played the role of Zoser. This production co-starred Nikki Renee Daniels as Aida, Michael Hunsaker as Radames and Jacqueline Bayne as Amneris. For photos, click HERE.

David played Trevor Graydon in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE at Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre in Winchester, Virginia in June of 2007. Click HERE for photos from this production.



David participated in a benefit concert of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR on March 30-31 and April 1, 2007. Through this concert and related events, over $750,000 was raised for Covenant House thanks to the efforts of Neil Berg, Danny Zolli and many dedicated and caring performers and audience members. Performers included Danny Zolli, Lawrence Clayton, Robert Cuccioli, Shayna Steele, Christine Hicks, Michael Lanning, Kirby Ward, Raymond Jaramillo McLeod, Michael Park, David Velarde and John Patrick Schutz. David performed in MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, a benefit concert for the Staten Island Philharmonic Orchestra on February 24, 2007. Featured vocalists included Andrea Rivette, Raymond Jaramillo McLeod, Christina Connors, Richard Koons, Michael St. John, Allison Mosier and David Velarde.

David played the role of Cary Grant in a new musical about Mae West entitled IT’S NOT WHAT I SAY… presented as part of the York Theatre Company’s Developmental Reading Series on February 20 and 21, 2007. The production starred John Hickok and Holly Faris, with direction by Andy Sandberg and musical direction and vocal arrangements by Jeffrey Buchsbaum.

HOT ‘N COLE completed its run at the Bickford Theatre in Morristown, NJ on February 18, 2007.

In November 2006, David was honored to perform as a soloist in concerts with Broadway favorites Brad Little, Ron Bohmer, Mandy Gonzalez, Rita Harvey, Erick Buckley, Robin Irwin and Natalie Toro. These events were produced by composer Neil Berg. For photos, click HERE.

David portrays Richard "Dick" Snelgrove, the tyrannical principal of Wanaget High School in the off-Broadway hit THE AWESOME 80s PROM.  Don't misbehave at the Prom - or you may get a detention!  For information about the show, click HERE.  Click HERE for photos.

In Fall 2006, David played the title role in the U.S. premiere of a newly revised version of Frank Wildhorn’s DRACULA – THE MUSICAL. Click HERE to view photos from this production.

David starred as Don Quixote in a concert production of MAN OF LA MANCHA, presented by The Staten Island Philharmonic on Sunday, September 17.  Click HERE to listen to sound clips from the show.

THE THREE MUSKETEERS - A New Musical completed its run at The Wings Theatre in New York City on May 14, 2005. David played the role of Porthos, one of the Musketeers.  For photos from this production, click HERE.

David played the role of Alfred/Sam in the Tony Award-nominated musical ROMANCE/ROMANCE and various roles in the David Ives comedy ALL IN THE TIMING, which ran in repertory from July 9 - August 23, 2004 at the Opera House in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL completed its run at CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale, New York on February 27, 2005. David played the role of Sir Percy Blakeney, the Scarlet Pimpernel.  Click HERE to view photographs from this production.

David played the role of Alfred/Sam in ROMANCE/ROMANCE at Virginia Musical Theatre in Virginia Beach, VA, which ended its run on February 5, 2006. Thank you to castmates and production staff for an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

David performed in a musical parody of William Shakespeare’s MACBETH at Rockefeller Center’s famed Rainbow Room on March 11, 2006, featuring Tony Award nominee Alison Fraser. Click HERE for photos.

AUTUMN MOON: A Werewolf Rock Musical made its world premiere at the Wings Theater in August 2006.  This brand new rock musical is undergoing further developmental work and a second production is currently being planned.  Click HERE to visit the show's official website.


David is proud to join Broadway veterans George Merritt and Raymond Jaramillo McLeod as a member of OH! THOSE VOICES, a baritone trio performing in concert at venues throughout the country.
