The 2003 Perry Awards were announced on September 28, 2003. David was honored to receive a nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for JEKYLL & HYDE at the Count Basie Theatre. The production also received nominations for: Outstanding Production of a Musical, Lead Actress in a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Musical Direction, Properties and Lighting Design. David performed This is the Moment from JEKYLL & HYDE during the awards ceremony.
